BOWLING GREEN – A psychological thriller is filming in South-Central Kentucky.
Edmonson and surrounding counties are getting into the Halloween spirit a bit early for the movie “Horntak.” Director Maxwell Morro says he needed to come to Southern Kentucky to find spooky woods.
The movie follows a family fighting for survival in the wilderness after encountering a sinister cult. Cast and crew say they’ve been taking advantage of the talent and hospitality the area has to offer. State leaders hope if “Horntak” is successful it could lead to other filmmakers utilizing the Southern Kentucky Film Commission.
