Hazard, KY (August 31, 2023) – Kentucky State Police have arrested a Hazard man, one of three suspects in a Perry County murder. The other two suspects were previously arrested and charged.
On August 27th, Kentucky State Police in Hazard responded to a report of a body located on Turner Ridge Road in Hazard. They found Ryan Turner, 38 of Hazard, dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The Perry County Coroner’s Office pronounced Turner dead on scene, and Post 13 detectives immediately launched an investigation.
Two suspects were arrested during the investigation; Jordan T. Campbell, 28, of Viper, was charged with murder, first degree burglary, and second degree fleeing or evading police. Rebekah M. Campbell, 45, of Hazard, was charged with one count of complicity to murder. Both subjects were lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
KSP were also searching for an additional suspect, Willie Lewis, 37 of Hazard. Lewis has now been located and taken into custody.
