GLASGOW – On Wednesday, at approximately 3:12pm, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of North Jackson Highway and Hiseville Road in reference to an injury accident.
Kathleen Burris, of Glasgow, was operating a 2021 Nissan Rogue and was pulling off of Hiseville Road into the intersection of North Jackson Highway to make a left turn. Charles Braxton, of Hodgenville, was traveling northbound on North Jackson Highway and was operating a 2018 Kia Optima. Burris failed to see Braxton as she was making the turn and the two collided in the intersection.
Both were flown from the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident and are listed in stable condition.
On Thursday, at approximately 8:43pm, the Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of HWY 255 and New Bowling Green Road in reference to an injury accident.
Lee Gordon, 31, of Glasgow, was traveling eastbound on his 2019 Harley Davidson Motorcycle when a 2016 Honda Civic operated by Laura Wright, 41, of Glasgow, pulled southbound into the intersection from HWY 255 into the travel path of Gordan, who struck Wright’s vehicle in the intersection.
Both were flown from the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident. Their conditions are unknown at the time of this release.
