SCOTTSVILLE – On Thursday, Scottsville Police arrested a Glasgow man on drug charges after they found him in a tree.
Around 4:00pm on Tuesday, Scottsville Police Department received a call about suspicious persons on Parkway Drive. The caller told police that one subject was in the backyard of a residence and another had climbed a tree.
Officers located and made contact with both subjects. Daniel D. Stock, of Glasgow, stated he had climbed the tree in hopes of seeing a female he was looking for. Officers removed Stock from the tree. Stock was in possession of methamphetamine, a firearm, and a machete.
Stock was charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center where he was later released on his own recognizance.
