COVINGTON – On Sunday, The Kentucky State Police (KSP) was requested by the Covington Police Department (CPD) to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. at Glenway Avenue in Covington.
At the request of CPD, the Kentucky State Police Post 6 arrived on the scene and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A CPD officer was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
One male subject was transported to the University of Cincinnati Hospital and pronounced deceased.
