PIKEVILLE – The Kentucky State Police are conducting a death investigation in Floyd County.
On April 27, 2022, KSP Pikeville Post located human remains in the Prestonsburg community. The remains have now been positively identified as Kandi Gonzalez. Gonzalez was last seen on June 01, 2021 in the area of Abbott Creek Road in the Prestonsburg community, and a Missing Persons case was initiated.
The cause of her death is undetermined.
