GLASGOW – On Friday, the Glasgow City Creamery hosted members of the community for their ceremonial ribbon cutting on the Glasgow square.

The locally-owned creamery features 16 delicious ice cream flavors, 20 different styles of coffee, and over 25 varieties of their signature Zinger drink (energy-infused tropical drink).

Andrew Hubbell, co-owner of Glasgow City Creamery, expressed his excitement for this new endeavor and the opportunities that lie ahead. “I’m extremely excited about this,” said Hubbell. “Being apart of the Glasgow community, even though I wasn’t born and raised here, this is where I came during the summer, so this place is home to me.”

“It’s exciting to see people invest money in downtown, because people who come downtown want to have lots of great places to go. This one is going to add so much to the experience of coming to downtown Glasgow,” said Mayor Henry Royse. ” “We’ve had retail growth, culinary growth, and now we have some fun growth with a tremendous amount of flavors and products that you can get here at the Glasgow Creamery.”

The family-owned business is located at 112 S Public Square and is open seven days a week from 6am-8pm, except on Sundays where they’re open from 7am-5pm. For more information you can visit Glasgow City Creamery’s Facebook.
