LOUISVILLE – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the single-lane closure on the ramps at the Interstate 64 and 9th Street interchange scheduled for this week in Jefferson County. Bridge engineers will be performing the required two-year routine inspection of the bridges. The closures are necessary to accommodate the equipment needed to perform the arms-length overpass inspection.
Motorists can expect single-lane ramp closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at these locations on the following dates:
- Monday, June 12: I-64 West Off-Ramp to 9th Street (Exit 4).
- Tuesday, June 13: I-64 East Off-Ramp to 9th Street (Exit 4).
- Wednesday, June 14: 9th Street On-Ramp to I-64 West.
