A Glasgow man was arrested and faces charges following an incident on Thursday.
On April 20, the Glasgow Police Department investigated a shooting incident that occurred on Woodlawn Street. Glasgow Police Detectives responded to the Greenview Hospital Emergency Room in Bowling Green after the victim arrived there for treatment of a gunshot wound.
Detectives determined there had been an altercation at a residence on Woodlawn Street, and the victim had been shot in the left leg area. The victim was treated and released for their injuries.
Cedrick R. Moore of Glasgow was arrested and charged with assault 1st degree-domestic violence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Moore was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center by Glasgow Police Detective Jewelie Robinson, assisted by Bowling Green Police Department, Barren County Sheriff Department and the Barren River Drug Task Force.
This case remains under investigation.
