GLASGOW — A woman charged in connection to the death of her father has been rearrested after violating bond terms.

Cheryl Leighanne Bennett, 46, was arrested Saturday after a bench warrant with no bond was issued by Circuit Judge John T. Alexander on Thursday.

Court records indicate that Bennett violated “one or more conditions” of her bond. Bennett was released from jail after her bond was reduced in Nov. 2022.

According to a report from You Turn Court Monitoring Service in Glasgow, Bennett took a drug test on April 18 where she allegedly tested positive for Methamphetamine among other substances.

Bennett and her mother, Donna C. Logdson, were both indicted on Jan. 13 and accused of the murder of Michael O. Logsdon, 75, who died on July 9, 2022, at his Tanglewood Drive home.

Bennett is due back in court on May 1 at 10 a.m. while both the defendants are due in court on May 22 for a pretrial conference.
