ROCKY HILL, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is investigating a trooper-involved shooting that occurred Thursday evening at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Edmonson County.
KSP’s CIRT arrived on the scene and began an investigation into the incident, according to a Friday afternoon press release.
On Friday, WCLU News spoke with KSP Post 3 Information Officer Daniel Priddy, who confirmed an officer-involved shooting but could not release specific details due to the nature of the event.
The press release said a male subject was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Edmonson County Coroner.
This case remains under investigation.
