Glasgow man charged in shooting at Adams Place

GLASGOW — A Glasgow man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he allegedly shot a woman in the arm.

Glasgow Police said John T. Hill, 37, was identified as the alleged shooter in the incident. Police responded to Adams Place after receiving shooting complaints.

According to the news release, the female victim was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital for her injuries and later flown
to Vanderbilt Hospital for further treatment.

Officers were able to locate the weapon and confirmed it to be stolen from Bowling Green. Hill was arrested and charged with Assault 1st Degree Domestic Violence, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, and Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm).

The arrest was made by Detective Andrew Moore. Hill was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.

This makes the second shooting along Park Avenue at the Arbors of Glasgow/Adams Place during the month of March.  Kynarious J. Flynt, 21, was identified as the alleged shooter in a March 8 incident. According to online jail records, Flynt remains lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
