GLASGOW — Police released the name of two men involved in a shooting Friday evening along North Race Street.
Authorities responded to a shooting complaint in the area of 1414 N. Race St. around 6:50 p.m. One person had been shot, they said.
Officers found James E. Campbell, 46, when they arrived and confirmed he had been in an alleged verbal dispute with another man. Campbell allegedly shot Roger L. Noland during that altercation.
Noland, of Scottsville, was transported to TJ Samson Hospital where he later died.
Campbell is faced with murder and two counts of wanton endangerment. He was taken to the Barren County Detention Center. He’s scheduled to be in court on Monday, Feb. 13 at 12:30 p.m.
This case remains under investigation.
