GLASGOW — Police in Glasgow provided food and toy assistance to 34 families and 79 children this holiday season.
The initiative known as Holiday Hero Toy & Food Drive sought to serve families and children during the holiday season. These families would not have had access to food and toys otherwise, according to a news release from Glasgow Police.
“We would like to say Thank You to Stacy Janes, Toys for Tots, Community Relief, Barren/Metcalfe 911 Center and Devil Woman Motorcycle Club,” the release said.
The department also thanked community members who donated food and toys.
