GLASGOW — First Presbyterian Church of Glasgow distributed the proceeds of their annual Election Day Lunch to the Family Resource Centers at Barren County Middle School and Glasgow Middle School.
Rev. Charlie Evans, the pastor, said it was a delight to share the proceeds with each school. Each school received a check for $934.44 to assist local youth in our community.
“This would not have been possible without all of those who attended our Election Day Lunch. Our community is well served by our neighbors that staff our local Family Resource Centers,” he said. “Both Shelly Young and Tina Cook at our middle schools show great care for their students.”
