GLASGOW — Property tax bills have been mailed for property owners in the city limits of Glasgow.
Glasgow City Hall released information Wednesday saying the bills will appear in mailboxes as mint green postcards. Certain discounts are available to property owners who pay before certain deadlines.
- 2% Discount – if paid by Nov. 30, 2022
- 1% Discount – if paid by Dec. 30, 2022
- Face Amount – if paid by Jan. 31, 2023
- 6% Penalty AND 6% interest per annum – if paid after Jan. 31, 2023
All walk-in payments must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 4:30 p.m. They must be postmarked by then, too. Payments must be made in cash or check. Credit cards are not accepted.
Property owners are urged to contact Glasgow City Hall if they have not received a 2022 tax bill. Call (270) 651-5131.
If mailing a payment, owners are asked to include the tax bill number on checks. If a receipt is requested, owners should include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Glasgow City Hall will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day; Nov. 24 and 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
