GLASGOW — The Glasgow Police Department will host a drug takeback event Saturday at Wal-Mart.
Saturday is National DEA Drug Take Back Day. The Glasgow Police Department will have a booth set up at the main entrance of Glasgow’s Wal-Mart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Any forms of unused or expired medications will be accepted. No information will be taken, and no questions will be asked, police said. The medication along with the container will be destroyed in a manner that makes it impossible to re-use.
Liquid medications and sharp medical items such as needles and syringes cannot be accepted.
