Mrs. Barbara Ann (Cornwell) Hollinsworth, age 74, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Signature Healthcare of Monroe. Barbara was born on September 29, 1948, the daughter of the late Buford Franklin and Gladys (Reagan) Cornwell. She was united in marriage to Ronnie Kay Hollinsworth, who preceded her in death in 2010. Barbara was a member of Beautiful Home Baptist Church. She retired from Kentucky Apparel, after working many years in the garment industry both there, and with Osh Kosh. Barbara enjoyed crafting, quilting, gardening, and cooking for her family.
She is survived by one son; Jamie Hollinsworth, of Tompkinsville, five grandchildren; Mason, Madison, Morgan, Karleigh Kay, and Jackson Hollinsworth. One brother; Freddie Cornwell and his wife Lois, of Tompkinsville, and one sister; Betty Sutton, and husband Dennis of Houston, Texas, along with several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Frank Hollinsworth, three brothers; Bobby, Leon, and Clinton “Buck” Cornwell, and one sister Lena Mae Brown.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Mount Hermon Cemetery. Bro. Jermey Yokley will officiate the service.
The Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 6:00 until time for services at 1:00.
