GLASGOW — The Barren River Animal Welfare Association will host next month an evening with Jordan’s Way, a non-profit group dedicated to animal advocacy and animal shelter clearing.
Local community members will be present to participate in dunking booths, kennel lockups and pie throwing, according to a Facebook post. Featured animals will be present for adoption. The whole event is about animals.
Connie Greer, general manager at BRAWA, said the group chose Glasgow as one of few stops on their latest tour.
The event is slated for June 16 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. It will be hosted via Facebook Live.
