GLASGOW — Police say a stolen vehicle was recovered Thursday at a Family Dollar Store along Columbia Avenue.
The vehicle was stolen from Metcalfe County, according to a news release. Glasgow officers located the vehicle and located Trenton Payne. He was taken into custody.
Police said Payne was allegedly in possession of a glass pipe and methamphetamine. He was charged with receiving stolen property ($10,000 or more) and first degree possession of a controlled substance.
Officer Andrew Moore made the arrest. He was assisted by Sgt. Michael Burgan.
