GLASGOW — T.J. Regional Health continued its philanthropic efforts during February as a part of its “12 Months of T.J.” initiative.

The health organization said it chose to make donations to provide financial support with various peoples’ utility bills. Donations worth $2,500 each were provided to multiple electric and water utility companies, the health group said.

“With the cold temperatures and weather related events we have experienced in the past few months, we know that many families are working hard to keep up with their utility bills while also juggling so many other of life’s expenses to make ends meet,” according to a news release.

The utility companies were given the discretion for the donations’ dispersal.

The “12 Months of T.J.” initiative seeks to give back to organizations and members of the communities the health group serves.

“We are happy to make these donations as part of the 12 Months of T.J. initiative,” they said.
