Dessie Marie Hester age 79 of passed away Saturday, March 5th at her son’s home in Munfordville.
She was a retired employee of Louisville Bedding in Munfordville and a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church. Dessie was the daughter of the late Chester & Roberta Dorsey Humphrey. She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin Hester, one brother Daymond Humphrey and two sisters Ruby Philpott and Bessie Reynolds.
She is survived by two sons Chester Dennis and Johnny Dennis both of Munfordville; one brother Delbert Humphrey, three sisters Alberta Crump, Betty Middleton & Debbie Gibson; six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Dessie Marie Hester will be 2pm Tuesday, March 8th at the Little Flock Cemetery with burial to follow. The family request that donations be given to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
The service is being conducted by the Sego Funeral Home.
