UPDATE (3:30 p.m.): The roadway has reopened, police say.
GLASGOW — Police are at the scene of an injury accident along the Cumberland Expressway near mile marker 14.
The single vehicle accident occurred early Wednesday afternoon. It happened along the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Expressway near mile marker 14, police said. The clean up is expected to last through 3:45 p.m.
The car allegedly was off the roadway when police arrived, according to department officials. One lane is closed for the duration of the removal.
