EIGHTY EIGHT — Many of the roadways across Barren County are snow and ice covered this morning.
Rain fell most of Thursday, and it froze overnight. The Friday commute may present problems because a residual amount of snow fell atop the ice in some areas.
Barren County Judge Executive Micheal Hale reports roadways in eastern Barren County are snow and ice covered. Siloam Road and eastbound Highway 90 were some of the areas the Hale reported from.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office reports roadways on the other side of the county are similar. Those in southwestern Barren County toward Warren County are snow and ice covered. Roadways impacted include Bowling Green Road and secondary roads in communities like Bon Ayr, Merry Oaks and Hays.
