Daniel Reyes, 31, and Filogoo Bondanio, 20, were arrested in Edmonton New Year’s Eve after a single car crash in Edmonton. The two men were intoxicated at the time of the crash.

EDMONTON — A New Year’s Eve crash in Metcalfe County sent two people to jail.
The Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle collision along Kentucky 80, six miles east of Edmonton. Deputy Logan Richardson responded.
Richardson discovered Daniel Reyes, 31, failed to negotiate a curve along the roadway. Reyes’ 2007 Nissan Altima hit a guardrail and came to rest in the roadway.
A passenger was identified as Filogoo Bondanio, 20, and he was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Reyes was intoxicated, too.
Reyes was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (first offense), possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle and several other traffic offenses.
Bodanio was charged with alcoholic intoxication in a public place.
The collision remains under investigation.
