HORSE CAVE, Ky. — A vehicle pursuit that began in Barren County ended in Hart County earlier this month.
The vehicle traveled north along 31E and into Hart County during the Dec. 13 pursuit. The vehicle eventually became disabled due to tire failure, according to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office.
Nicholas D. Hodges, 40, was arrested and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center as a result of the pursuit. He’s also charged with outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Additional traffic charges will be sought in Hart County, a news release said.
Police inspected the vehicle Dec. 22 with a K9 and discovered 1.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine. Additional charges will be filed in Barren County.
