SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. — State Police is investigating after a Tuesday shooting in Allen County.
Post 3 in Bowling Green said the shooting happened along Moncrief Street in Scottsville. Authorities responded around 10:47 p.m.
State Police arrived and discovered two people with gunshot wounds. Those people were identified as 27-year-old Christopher Jones and 63-year-old Regina Ray, both of Scottsville.
Police say 34-year-old Ryan Slaughter, of Scottsville, made entry to the home and shot both Jones and Ray. Slaughter left the home and was later located in Scottsville. He was arrested and lodged in Allen County Jail.
Slaughter is charged with two counts of first degree assault, first degree burglary and three counts of first degree wanton endangerment.
Jones and Ray were transported to the University of Vanderbilt Hospital. Jones is in stable condition. Ray is listed in critical condition.
KSP detectives are leading the investigation.
