CAVE CITY – Electric utility crews continue to restore power to areas impacted by weekend storms.

Barren County Judge Executive Micheal Hale said crews are expected to restore power as soon as Monday. Other areas may see lengthier outages.

“They’ve just got so much to replace and repair,” Hale said. “The area is still a dangerous zone to go to.”

Larger power outages across Warren County have kept crews from Warren RECC with significant workloads. Portions of Bowling Green’s western side were without power most of Saturday. Some areas continue to be impacted by outages.
