HAZARD, Ky. — State Police are searching for Owsley County Sheriff Brent Lynch after they say he assaulted a female juvenile at a high school basketball game.
Lynch is a member of the Owsley County High School basketball coaching staff, Kentucky State Police say. He apparently assaulted a juvenile during a game. It’s unclear how he assaulted the juvenile.
State Police responded to the high school to investigate Dec. 3. Perry District Court issued an arrest warrant for Lynch Dec. 7.
Lynch continues to be at large. The incident remains under investigation.
