Johnnie Hillard Hatcher, age 77 of Cave City, departed this life on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Signature HealthCare at Glasgow. The Hart County native was born on February 2, 1944 to the late William Cecil and Irene Laird Hatcher. He was married to his devoted wife, Lina Sexton Hatcher, who survives.
Johnnie worked in maintenance for many years at the Cave City Rest Area. He was also a farmer and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory— two sons, Johnny Hatcher of Park City and Danny Hatcher (Rita) of Cave City; five grandchildren, Kevin Hatcher (Diedra), Michael Hatcher (Amanda), Evelyn Greeno (Ray), Rebecca Hatcher (Johnathan) and Elizabeth Irene Hatcher; eleven great-grandchildren and one brother, Raymond Hatcher. He was also preceded in death by his son, Franklin Hatcher; two brothers, Robert Ike and Clifton Hatcher and one sister, Edith Hogan.
Interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
