Dortha Butler, 81, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, November 26th, at Monroe County Medical Center, Tompkinsville, KY.
Dortha was born in Monroe County, KY on June 11, 1940, a daughter of the late Irene (Hagan) and Haskel Graves. She married J.W. Butler October 29, 1955, who preceded her in death March 12, 2012. She was owner of Butler’s Fruit Market in Tompkinsville & was a member of Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church where she played the piano.
Dortha is survived by two sons Stevie, husband of Stephanie Butler, of Burkesville, KY; Roger Dale, husband of Janice Butler, of Glasgow, KY. 4 grandchildren, Rachel, Jessica, Sarah & Jamie & 5 great-grandchildren, Heather, Briana, Lane, Luke & Raylan.
Her Parents, husband & sister, Mae Cleary preceded her in death.
Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Sunday, November 28th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Brother Ronnie Pitcock will officiate.
Visitation will be held 10 AM to 1 PM on Sunday, November 28th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
