Judy Stewart Richards, 79, of Brownsville passed away Thursday Nov. 25, 2021 at her home.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a medical technician retired from Edmonson Health and Rehab Center. She was the daughter of the late Eugan Raymer and Cora Blanton Raymer and the wife of the late James Arthur Stewart. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Murray Raymer and Vernon Raymer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Sunny Point General Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place 1-7 PM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home and 11 AM-1 PM Monday at the church.
Surviving are her husband, Overt Richards; three sons, Ronnie Stewart of Brownsville, Rick Stewart (Marlana) of Somerset and Clay Stewart (Susan) of Raleigh; a daughter, Teresa Newell (Mark) of Leitchfield: eight grandchildren, Matt Stewart, Jeff Stewart (Krista), Audrey Stewart, Lydia Stewart, Kayla Hayes (Seth), Nathaniel Newell, Brady Stewart (Tiffren) and Holly Stewart; and three great grandchildren, Hailey, Maxximus and Markus.
