GLASGOW, Ky. — Trash pickup Thursday and Friday will shift due to the Thanksgiving holiday and office closures.
The Glasgow Department of Public Works will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26. The Sanitation Department is also included in that closure.
Thursday’s trash and recycling pickup will shift to Monday, Nov. 29, and Friday’s trash pickup will shift to Tuesday, Nov. 30. The department asks that garbage and recycling bins be placed at the curbside by 7 a.m.
In other closures, the Glasgow Street, Transit and Stormwater Departments will be closed.
The Glasgow Regional Landfill will operate Friday, Nov. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon. It will be closed Thursday and Saturday.
The Barren County Government Center will be closed Thursday and Friday. Offices inside that building include the Barren County Clerk’s Office, Sheriff’s Office and the County Judge Executive’s Office.
The Barren Circuit Court Clerk’s Office will be closed Thursday and Friday, too.
