Antonia L. Simpson, age 84 of Legrande passed away Thursday, November 19, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was a native of McAllen, Tx and a member at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she enjoyed fishing with her husband. She is preceded in death by her husband, Caly Simpson; one son, Michael Simpson; her parents, Miguel Martinez and Sara Gonzales Martinez; seven brothers and sisters, Francisca Garcia, Jose Pedro Martinez, Tomasa Olivares, Guadalupe Contreras, Miguel Martinez, Angela Martinez, Consuelo Zapata and Yolanda Martinez.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Milby and Diana Simpson both of Horse Cave; two grandchildren, Jon Michael Milby and Jessica Mayville (Jeremiah); several nieces, nephews and a many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cosby Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Winn Funeral Home and again on Wednesday Morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
