Joe Thien, age 72 of Bowling Green, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his residence. The St. Louis, Missouri native was born on January 24, 1949 to the late Henry George and Mary Nell Barry Thien. He was married to his loving wife, Tammy Cowles Thien, who survives.
Joe retired from General Motors, and attended Chalybeate United Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory— his children, Joey Thien (Dawn) of Nashville, Cindy Thien of Florida and Taylor Carroll (Chad) of Glasgow; seven grandchildren, Jacob and Jordan Thien, Madison and William Pumphrey, Dalton, Thomas and Abel Carroll and one sister, Bonita Knickmeyer.
Interment will be in Kinser Cemetery.
