GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Department of Public Works is hosting a free large item drop off Saturday, Nov. 20.
The event will be held from 8 a.m to noon at the Glasgow Regional Landfill, which is located at 400 Glen Garry Road. The service is provided only to residents living in the city limits of Glasgow.
Certain large items are acceptable, and others are not.
Couches, chairs, tables, lamps, mattresses, box springs, appliances, etc. will be accepted.
Wood, carpet, trash, building material and roofing materials will not be accepted. Regular charges apply for these items.
