GLASGOW, Ky. — Authorities say a partially clothed child was located unattended along Davis Street Wednesday.
Glasgow Police responded to the incident at 10:03 a.m. and located the child “shivering from the cold weather.” The child was taken to the police department because officers could not identify where he lived. There were also no reports of a missing juvenile.
Officers responded back to Davis Street at 2:19 p.m. A man appeared to be under the influence and was searching for the missing child. Officers determined Johnny Boles was unaware of how long the child had been missing.
Officers responded to another residence along Columbia Avenue and made contact with Linda Boles who also stated she was unaware of the missing child.
Johnny P. Boles, 66, and Linda G. Boles, 62, both of Glasgow, face one charge of first degree criminal abuse of a child 12 or under.
Johnny faces a public intoxication charge. Linda faces one count of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
It’s unclear how the two are connected to the child.
