Anna Sue England Starr, 77, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at NHC Healthcare. She was born March 9, 1944 in Metcalfe County to the late Bennie England and Jewell Hurt England. Sue was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. Sue and her late husband, William Starr, were very devoted Christians and were leaders of the Faith and Friendship Sunday School Class at Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her aunt, Betty Lou Robertson (Don) of Glasgow; one uncle, L.D. Hurt (Bettie) of Indiana; one brother-in-law, Ray Starr of Temple Hill; two special friends and caregivers, Gail Etherton, Lou Shirley; and several cousins.
The funeral service for Mrs. Starr will be held 3:00 PM Monday, October 25th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 AM until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mrs. Starr.
