GLASGOW, Ky. — A Tuesday morning crash along Donnelley Drive in Glasgow left one woman dead.
The Glasgow Police Department responded to the crash near Jackie Browning Park.
A 2012 GMC Yukon was attempting to turn left into Jackie Browning Park, Glasgow Police said. Marika P. Harbison was driving the Yukon.
Police said Harbison failed to see a 2005 Pontiac G6 traveling northbound along Donnelley Drive. Stephen J. Adamson was driving the Pontiac.
Harbison apparently pulled into Adamson’s path, and the two vehicles collided.
Police said Haley N. Coppedge, 30, was inside Adamson’s vehicle, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Harbison was transported by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.
Adamson was transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS. He was later flown to Vanderbilt Hospital for his injuries. A juvenile was inside Adamson’s vehicle, and they were transported with non-life threatening injuries.
Harbison was cited for no registration plates and no registration receipt. Adamson was cited for booster seat violations.
Police continue to investigate.
