Helen Sue Ferguson, age 82 of Hiseville passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was the daughter of the late John Spencer and Ollie Mae Bailey. She was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church. An absolute angel has been called to heaven. She was such a beautiful lady and a wonderful Godly Christian woman that was loved dearly and will be missed tremendously by everyone who knew her.
She was a retired, hard-working lifelong farmer who loved landscaping her yard and raising beautiful flowers. But above all, she loved her precious God, her family, her friends, and her dogs.
She is survived by two daughters: Deborah Ferguson and Loretta Jones; two grandsons: John Bradley London and Joshua Adam Jones (J.T.); one great-granddaughter Paige London (Brandon); one sister Linda Botts (Richard); a brother-in-law, Preston Gooden; several nieces and one nephew.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard “Buddy” Ferguson; two brothers: Bobby Bailey and Johnny Bailey; and one sister, Wilma Jean Gooden.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitors who are not vaccinated will be required to wear a mask or face covering.
