On Thursday the Glasgow Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Happy Valley Road in Glasgow. Officer Hayden Phillips spoke with 45 year old, Chris Cantrell of Cave City to verify proof of insurance for the vehicle and received consent to search the vehicle. Officers located marijuana, methamphetamine, and a large amount of cash. Cantrell was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and trafficking in control substance 1st degree, 1st offense. Officer Phillips was assisted by Officer Mark Cromwell.
