Georgia Lea Carron, 100, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, at
Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. She was the daughter of the late
William and Ida Stearns and the widow of Norman Carron whom she was married to for
50 years. She was born and raised in Missouri and moved to Glasgow almost six years ago to be near her son.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Terry Carron and wife Phyllis of Arizona and Mike Carron and wife Pam of Glasgow; granddaughters, Jackie (John) Cota of Livermore, CA, Heather (John) Lucey of Bend, OR, Amy (Greg) Cardwell of Georgetown, IN, and Kelly (David) Green of Louisville; nine great grandchildren, Amanda, Shelby, John, Austin, Tyler, Hannah, Kendal, Ainsley, and Blake; one great great grandchild who was named after her, Georgia.
Besides her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers.
A graveside service will be held in Perryville, MO and there will be no local
services. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
