GLASGOW, Ky. – On Tuesday, September 28, the Glasgow Police Department responded to an injury accident at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Bryan Street.
Officers determined that a Jeep being operated by Joshua Lashley was traveling northbound on Columbia Avenue and failed to see a moped being operated by Bobby Simmons who was slowing down and attempting to turn onto Bryan Street. The jeep struck the rear of the moped causing Simmons to be ejected.
Bobby Simmons was transported by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS for non-life threatening injuries. Joshua Lashley was not injured.
The accident was investigated by Sgt. Aaron Cowan, assisted by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
