Carolyn Sturgeon, age 74 of Cave City, departed this life on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at her residence. The Barren County native was born on January 16, 1947 to the late John and Verna Pickett Morgan. She was married to Thomas Bryant Sturgeon, who survives.
Carolyn was a housewife and was a member of Servant Valley United Baptist Church.
Besides her husband she leaves to honor her memory— her children, Kelly Bryant Sturgeon (Janet) of Temple Hill and Jamie Shirley (Brandon) of Park City; grandchildren, Kelsey Sturgeon and Tyler Shirley; brothers, James Morgan and Richard Morgan; sister, Shelby Bush. She was preceded in death by, her brothers, Leonard and Mike Morgan
Interment will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
