The Glasgow Police Department responded earlier today (09-23-21) to to West Front Street in reference to a deceased male.
After further investigation, Detective Mickey Atwood determined that the deceased male identified as 30 year old Richard B. Wix had shared the home with his father identified as 50 year old Richard L. Wix who was also the caregiver due to Richard B. Wix being diagnosed as autistic and non-verbal.
Richard L. Wix of Glasgow Ky., was arrested and charged with Reckless Homicide, Knowingly Abuse/Neglect Of Adult By Person.
The arrest was made by Detective Mickey Atwood, assisted by the Criminal Investigation Division.
The case remains under investigation.
