Billy Joe Minton, age 80, of Cave City, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at his home. He was a native of Munfordville and a retired auto mechanic from Dobson Motors in Munfordville. He was also employed with Carl Jaggers and was an avid UK basketball fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James O. Minton and Mabel A. Spencer; one brother, Jimmy Minton; two sisters, Emmajean Waters and Sarah Gibson.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Pam Templeman Minton of Cave City; four children, Tina Walsh (Chris) of Horse Cave, David Arms of Cave City, Nichole Minton of Bowling Green, Stacey Blevins (Phillip) of Franklin; grandchildren, Paige Cundiff (Jeff), Zachery, Hunter, Isreal, Aiden, Dallas, Azra and other grandchildren; one sister, Alice Faye Willinghert (Randy) of Louisville; one brother, John Wayne Minton of Munfordville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m.-8 p.m. on Monday, September 20 and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.Condolences may be expressed online at www.winnfuneralhome.com
