Scottsville man arrested on stolen vehicle, drug charges

On Sunday, September 12, the Glasgow Police Department conducted a traffic stop that leads to one person being arrested on a stolen vehicle charge.
An officer located a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle traveling on Sunset Avenue and attempted a traffic stop however the vehicle failed to stop and began to accelerate. The officer was able to get the vehicle stopped on Samson Street and the driver fled on foot. Officers conducted a search and located the suspect hiding under a truck.
Officers also located Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, syringes and Drug Paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Cody F. Slaughter of Scottsville Ky., was arrested and charged with:
  • Receiving Stolen Property $1,000<$10,000
  • Reckless Driving
  • Disregarding Stop Sign
  • 1st Degree Fleeing Or Evading Police (Motor Vehicle)
  • 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment of a Police Officer
  • 2nd Degree Fleeing Or Evading Police (On Foot)
  • Operating On Suspended Or Revoked Operators License
  • 1st Degree Possession Control Substance 3rd Or> Offense Drug Unspecified
  • 2nd Degree Possession Control Substance Drug Unspecified
