Johnie Ray Cochran, age 70, of Glasgow, died Sunday, September 12, 2021 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Glasgow on August 24, 1951, to the late Vernon Ray Cochran and the late Lou Nell (Denham) Cochran. Johnie was a concrete finisher for Scott Murphy Construction and a deacon at the Upper Room Harvest Church. He is survived by his wife Nancy Cochran; two sons, Desper Cochran (Teresa) and Bradley Cochran (Toni); grandchildren, Charlie Cochran, Gabe Cochran, Katelyn Cochran, Madelyn Cochran, Khyli Cochran, Madison Walker, Dakota Perdue, Casey Perdue, Justin Perdue, Zachary Perdue, Anthony Wheeler, Amy Gootee, Brian Kirby, and Ron Kirby; one brother, Jimmy Cochran (Beth); one sister-in-law, Marcia Cochran; 24 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Dewayne Cochran; one step daughter, Marsha Cochran; one step son, David Kirby; two brothers, David Cochran and Darrell Cochran. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 16th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A.F.
