Jackie Laverne Sexton, 57, of Glasgow, entered eternal life on September 3, 2021, at the Signature Health Care Facility. She was born to Lenora Sexton Clark Hornback, and the late James Melvin Sexton. Jackie was a homemaker. She loved to work with her hands, as she enjoyed woodworking and fishing. She never met a stranger, and her smile will be dearly missed. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Martin; stepfather, Jimmie Hornback, Jr.; and a sister in law, Kara Sexton. Survivors include her mother, Lenora Clark Hornback; four children, Michelle Young (Tyler), Michael Houchens (Ariel), Christopher Houchens, Melinda Houchens; nine grandchildren, Montana Gentry, Emily Gentry, Ayden Young, Mathew, Levi, and Olivia Houchens, Logan & Liam Keys, Cyrus Houchens; father of her children, Bobby Houchens; five siblings, Darrell Sexton (Wanda), Linda Poynter (Terry), James Sexton (Darlene), Joseph Sexton, and Priscilla Poynter (Ronnie); three step brothers, Karl Hornback, Keith Hornback (Debbie), and Kent Hornback. Funeral service will be 11:00am Wednesday, September 8th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A.F. Crow is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Sexton.
