DOUBLE MURDER IN GLASGOW: MORE DETAILS FROM THE INVESTIGATION

Sep 3, 2021 | 11:00 AM

More details into yesterday’s double murder in Glasgow are coming forth. 21-year-old Cody Bacon is in the Barren County Jail,  charged with 2 Counts of murder in the death of David A. Pace age 24 and Brittany R. Pace age 22 both of Glasgow.  Bacon reportedly called the 911 dispatch center at about 3:30 yesterday afternoon indicating that he had shot his brother and sister-in-law.  Glasgow Police Officer Wesley Hicks was the first on the scene and observed Bacon standing on the sidewalk waving his arms.  Bacon followed directions and was taken into custody.  According to the arrest citation, Bacon waived his right to remain silent and stated he was “tired of his brother and sister-in-law arguing and fussing with the children.”  Because two juveniles were reportedly present during the shooting, Bacon is additionally charged with 2 counts of wanton endangerment.  Funeral arrangements for the Paces are pending.
